James began his career in Marine Insurance prior to becoming a shipbroker. While spending nearly 10 years working in both Hong Kong and Singapore he was able to develop and establish excellent relationships throughout the far east. Prior to founding Trafalgar he was jointly responsible for running the sale and purchase department of the head office of the world largest independent shipbroker. |
Fraser Nightingale
Fraser has been in the shipbroking industry for over 30 years having served his apprenticeship as a trainee shipbroker at Clarksons where he joined in 1988. He has built up throughout his career longstanding relationships both in South Korea and Japan. He enjoys the extensive patronage of a significant number of prominent Greek ship owners. His success lies predominantly with his love of the country, her history, culture and people. |
Gareth C.W Jones
Coming from a multi generation shipping family in Singapore, Gareth moved to London in 1994 to work for one of the worlds leading shipowners. He moved into broking in 1998 with SSY specialising in deep sea tankers. This led to him running the tanker transaction team. He is a founding partner of Trafalgar and continues to specialise in very large crude carriers as well as the offshore sector |
Staffan Bülow
Staffan started shipbroking in his native Sweden in 1982, followed by a four year period in Madrid after which he was invited to join Seascope as a partner in 1988. Later Staffan was appointed global head of S&P in publicly listed ACM, which included overseeing the merger with publicly listed Braemar Seascope. Throughout his career Staffan is recognised as being one of the most influential and successful brokers for the region of Turkey, and was instrumental in assisting the nation in building up their national fleet. He joined Trafalgar in 2017 and is fluent in several languages including English, Spanish and Norwegian. |
